LAKE ANNAND PARK (EAST)

Public BBQ

Lake Annand Park, a picturesque oasis nestled within the city, is a popular family-friendly spot filled with nature's bounty. A large, well-maintained playground, featuring a pirate ship, swings, slides, and a climbing wall, keeps the young ones entertained. The park is accessible for all, with ramp access and special equipment for the disabled. Shaded by towering trees, the park offers ample space for picnics and relaxed afternoons. The lake, often filled with ducks, adds to the serenity of the park. Walkways and bike lanes along the lake provide an excellent opportunity for leisurely strolls or energetic cycling. The park's amenities, including updated toilets and multiple BBQ areas, are highly appreciated. Wildlife enthusiasts find joy in the park's bird population, notably the cockatoos. The park's charm is further enhanced by a grand bottle tree, possibly one of the largest around. However, visitors are advised to be cautious of the birds when sitting under these trees.
